Naomi graduated with a 4.0 from Andersonville Theological Seminary with a Doctorate of Ministry in Christian Counseling. She also received a National Christian Counseling Association License in Clinical Pastoral Counseling with an Advanced Certification. Due to life experiences and training, she feels she could help clients that struggle with a broad spectrum of issues that includes, but is not limited to spiritual issues, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, dissociative disorders, anger management, abandonment issues, abuse, childhood trauma, relationship issues, family management, and parenting.
She spent time volunteering at the Women's Pregnancy Center in Marietta, Georgia. There she had the opportunity to work with women from all walks of life. Some of the women experienced physical and emotional abuse, and some women never experienced having a personal relationship with the Lord. She helped them navigate through their issues, repair and build their relationship with the Lord. She has always strongly believed in the value of helping people by giving them the tools they need to be able to help themselves to live more productive, peaceful and satisfying lives. Life can be so very difficult at times, and she feels very fortunate to be able to work in an environment where she is able to combine her clinical skills, along with principles of spirituality, and her love for Christ in order to overcome painful problems and experiences.
Some of her goals for counseling ministry are to be able to continue to reach souls for Christ, to guide them through the Word, the Holy Spirit, and through prayer. Outside of her office hours, Naomi spends her time loving and supporting her family. She is an active member of her church and sees mentoring and hospitality as an important aspect of her ministry. She is also committed to being an instrument of God’s healing grace, by helping people know that they don’t have to face the challenges of life alone.
